Gurugram
Fire Check Consultants has been appointed to undertake a fire, life and electrical safety audit of an existing residential development “The Camellias” located at Golf Course Road, DLF Phase V, Gurugram, Haryana 122002. The Camellias complex comprises nine residential towers with three basement carpark levels and an adjacent club building in the premises. The tallest residential tower reaches an approximate height of 148 m.
The purpose of the audit was to review the fire safety system installed in the building in conformity with the prescriptive provisions contained in the Indian National Building Code (NBC) 2005 Part 4. The audit also aims to provide the building owner with the necessary advice and recommendations to facilitate compliance with the legislative requirements set forth by the NBC 2005 Part 4.
The assessment was conducted in accordance with the NBC 2005 Part 4 focusing on compliance with the prescriptive provisions outlined in Section 3 – Fire Prevention, Section 4 – Life Safety, Section 5 – Fire Protection, Section 6 & Annex C – Additional Requirements and Electrical Safety Provisions.
FCC completed the audit and presented the findings for consideration of relevant stakeholders.
